JOURNAL

Today is Ava's 3rd birthday!!! That's Lauren's daughter for those that don't know. We all slept in a bit, ate breakfast, lazed around the apartment watching Arrested Development on DVD (so funny!) and then left for Ava's birthday party in Safety Harbor. I can not believe she's already 3!

After the party we walked over to Taste downtown and got some hummus and pita. It was so good! Then it started to rain, so we ran back to Lauren's house and hung out until the storm stopped.

We headed back to my apartment to chill out for a while. I made dinner, ate and then took long a nap. It was lovely! We also made some delicious chocolate chip cookies from scratch.

Abbie made plans for us to hang out at Kristy's house, so we drove back to Safety Harbor to pick up Lauren and then over to Clearwater. We brought the cookies and some Rex & Goliath Pinot Noir (Marcel was DD). The cookies were devoured! The boys were watching pre-season football (not so fun) and then the MMA fight (more entertaining), which included a headlining fight with two girls. We got sucked in and watched the whole thing. Kristy lives so close to Bright House Network Field that we could watch the fireworks from her front yard. How cool is that!
