Retreat Recap: Day 1

October is the start of my favorite time of year. Not only do I adore the Fall Season and the holidays that come with it, but it's T-Tapp Retreat time as well!

Lots of catching up to do, so please bear with me as I recap this amazing week.

The Retreat is finally here!!!

8:10am: Green Monster

Starting the day off right!!!

I drove over to the Publix Greenwise store before heading to the office to pick up a bottle of red and white Lolonis Ladybug wine for the Raffle for Research. This winery is organic and they use the ladybugs to keep the pests away. I think that it just the coolest! Plus, T-Tapp has a Ladybug Workout, so we're including it in the raffle this year.

9:30am: Good Grains bagel with lowfat cream cheese, small coffee with 2% and sugar

We started the T-Tapp Meet & Greet Registration at 11:00am at the Safety Harbor Spa. I also had the task of measuring T-Tappers as they came in. We do before and after measurements to track progress during the Retreat.

The "goody bags" were out of control this year. Courtesy of Teresa Tapp, each goody bag was filled with over $300 worth of products, samples and a T-Tapp T-Shirt.

Teresa also provided a free lunch for everyone from the Taste Restaurant in Safety Harbor. Thankfully, Kitty picked up lunch for the staff so we didn't have to leave the hotel during registration.

1:30pm: meddie veggie sandwich, spinach lentil soup, small brownie

Sorry these pictures are horrible, but I didn't have my camera at the time.

Afternoon Supplements:
Alfalfa: 3 caps
B-12: 4 sprays
Cellfood: 4 drops
Jus Jel: 1 packet
Priority Women's Complete Multi: 2 caps

From 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm we had a buffet of light hors d'oeuvres in the Palm Lobby. The display was beautiful!

4:20pm: my plates :)

Mixture of fruit, veggies, cheese and that's brie with cinnamon apples.

Spinach and Feta Stuffed Mushroom and some kind of deliciously thick cheese spread on slice of bread.

After hors d'oeuvres Teresa welcomed everyone to the Retreat and then we did our Staff and Trainer introductions. None of us (except trainers) are used to getting up in front of a bunch of people and talking. I don't think I messed up my little speech this year, but it's intimidating even though I knew half the crowd.

From Left to Right: Michelle, Jeanne, Jen, Berei, Me, Lauren, Shannon, Brian, Teresa

When we were finished the T-Tappers started their introductions. This time was an opportunity for everyone to briefly share their own personal success stories and get to know a little bit about each other. The stories and successes were so inspiring and heart felt. It is truly exceptional how many people T-Tapp has positively affected over the years.

Here are two of my favorite quotes of the evening:

"It's not just about inch loss, but the changes going on inside." - Sheryl L.

"Yes You Can Bionic Women!" - Kiona L.

6:30pm: 1/2 glass of white wine

7:30pm: glass of Merlot (sorry no photo)

After the introductions we were exhausted and headed back to our room for a little snack.

11:30pm: 1/2 turkey wrap, bite of potato salad

That's the end of Day 1!!!

Look at how beautiful those fruits and vegetables look. Now THAT is food. Maybe one day I'll get to go to a T-Tapp Retreat
