JOURNAL

I got my juicer! I'm so excited. It requires lots of cleaning when you're done, but boy do I love fresh juice. So healthy and delicious! I can't wait to try some of the recipes that came with it.

Love Tempo 8! I can feel it today. My Plan: Do the WHOLE workout tonight, then take tomorrow off and I'll be back on track. I dread measuring -- I've been enjoying lots of carbs and sweets over the past week (Cold Stone is the devil). An article I recently read mentioned that for every gram of carbohydrates you eat, your body retains three grams of water. What this means to me is that the inches aren't going to change very much. If I could just lose 2 inches off my hips and shape up my legs -- I'd be 100% satisfied. Seems like an attainable goal, but when you're down to the last few inches (or pounds) it takes MORE work to get it to come off. A slip up like my "birthday week" might take a little longer to burn off. Just need to keep on keeping on!

I went through the whole workout, BUT the DVD skipped through to TI after one side of Torso Twist. I finished my workout with TI Torso Twist (8 reps) and through the end of TI. Bummer! I wanted to do the whole thing tonight.
