Trainer Certs Recap: Day 1

Trainer Certs Recap, October 5th: Day 1

It's my court date... butterflies in my tummy...

7:00am: 2 boiled eggs

This morning I had to appear in court at 8am in downtown Tampa. It took 10 minutes to get there and 20 to figure out where to park. Once we got into the court room I was told that the girl that hit me had already pleaded guilty. That was it! Wonder why they couldn't notify me of that and save me a trip downtown?

After that we came home and napped for a few hours before I headed back to the Spa. Retreats take a lot out of me. I'm not used to working such long days and running around (usually I sit at my desk for 8-9 hours).

Lunch at the Spa... Mediterranean grouper, slice of bread and butter

Caylee came to visit for lunch...

I did 2 workouts today
- Debby Jones' Total Workout class and Carol Heinrich's Ladybug class.

8:00pm: salad with a little balsamic dressing

8:40pm: chicken piccata, garlic leek mashed potatoes, green beans

This was the most amazing meal by far.

Dr. Stan Pierce did a presentation for the Trainers this evening. I learned a lot and he really opened my eyes. Dr. Pierce is a chiropractor that does a special technique called Advanced Orthogonal Chiropractic, which involves using customized percussion sound waves to adjust the atlas joint in the cervical spine. No manual manipulation or twisting, popping or cracking like standard chiropractic. The results are verified before and after the initial adjustment by an x-ray, so you can visually see the difference. The best part is that when your atlas is aligned the rest of your spine falls into place. It's all about maximizing brain to body communication. Dr. Pierce said that it can even correct scoliosis! I am definitely going to see him when I get some money saved up. Would love to feel better on a long-term basis!!!

I hadn't heard what happened with the court case. Glad you didn't have to testify, but agree it would've been nice to know you didn't have to show up!

Hey Vicki,

She pleaded guilty before I even got there. So that's it. I have about 40 days to collect any out of pocket expenses due to the accident.

Thanks for caring! *hugs*
