Healthy Heart Month

Our hearts beat every minute of every day without us evening having to think about it. Usually you don't become concerned with your heart until something goes wrong. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!

My dearest grandmother passed away after suffering from several strokes and having open heart surgery. She meant the world to me and taught me so many life lessons. I will always love and miss her. Wish she was still here with me to this day.

If you want your heart to be healthy for the rest of your life, follow this prescription:

  1. Get plenty of exercise. Try T-Tapp! The TappCore DVD is a great place to start fitting in a few exercises to help you build a healthy heart, strength and flexibility.
  2. Follow a good diet. Whole grains, lean protein, fresh fruit and veggies do a body good!
  3. Reduce stress. Try meditation, yoga, walking, or Hoe Downs to clear your head!
  4. Keep your heart clean and drug-free. Yes you can!
