Happy Date Night

Tonight was another movie date night!  We saw Grown Ups for free at Channelside.  Feel good movie, for sure.  Goofy and funny.  It was worth the trip in the rain.

I woke up happy today!  Very tired, but with a smile on my face.

Eats

Brekkie

I broke down and got a Starbucks Grande Nonfat Vanilla Latte and Perfect Oatmeal with all the fixings.  I was just too tired NOT to drink caffeine... and haven't been to the market all week so I'm out of food!

Lunch

Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza's Eggplant Marino (split with Jen).

And I used my "treat receipt" for another latte after 2pm, but couldn't hardly drink it.  Maybe had about 1/4 of this cup:

Previewing a few soon to be released T-Tapp workouts!  Can't wait to do them.

Dinner

Me: What should I make for dinner tonight???
Jen: Curry Coconut Chicken!
Me: Yum!

So that's what I made...

Stopped at Fresh Market on the way home (love that place!)... this is a 100% organic dish!  ♥

At the Movies

Free popcorn and a Shocktop beer.

TOO much salt!  Ugh...

Healthy Habits

Nourishment
Fruits: skipped it today, but I am craving apples.
Veggies: 3 servings
Water: 1 liter

Body Care
Body Brushing & Oil Pulling: check!
Magnesium Oil: check! More on this later...
Exercise: 2 sets of Hoe Downs, took the stairs at the movies (walked with good T-Tapp form -- about 5 flights each way).

Supplements
Alfalfa: 6 caps
B-12 Plus: 8 sprays

I'm sleepy... off to dream.
Au revoir!

P.S. It feels like the weekend already... but I have to work bright and early tomorrow!

A Good Day

Hello friends!  Today was a good day.  I worked exactly 8 hours (weird for me), got a massage from Margie, had a fun date night and made a few healthy choices (and a few not so healthy).

I took Roxy (my pup) to work today, so she came with me to my massage as well.  She cracks me up.  I was on the massage table and she tried to jump up there (too high for her).  Ended up snuggling me and licking off the massage oil the entire time.  It was pretty funny... and yes, she's welcomed back.  Margie loves her!

Eats

Brekkie

Basically 1/2 of that piece of cinnamon toast covered in organic PB right there... thanks to ROXY eating my breakfast!  (Warning: Don't turn your head away from food if Roxy's in close range.)  And I drank the entire glass of chocolate unsweetened Almond Breeze.

Lunch

I broke down and went out to lunch finally...

Crisper's Asian Chicken Salad with Thai Peanut Dressing and Vegetarian Vegetable Soup.

Beautiful salad!

Only ate about 1/2 of the soup, but finished the salad. Yum!

Dinner

I split this Jimmy John's Turkey Tom sandwich on WW with Marcel.

We kind of rushed dinner to make it to a free movie screening (hello, date night!) in Tampa for Cyrus.  Not one I would have personally chosen to see (or pay for), but it was good for a few laughs and smiles.

Snacks/Drinks

At the movies I was bad... I ate popcorn, Reece's Pieces and drank a little Frozen Coke.  //sigh//

Really before I even thought about what I was eating I already had been eating it for a little bit.  Guess that's what the movies do to me... mindless snacking.

Then on the way home we stopped at the Pub and I drank a Yuengling.

And now my tummy is achy. Ugh.  Going to take my Alfalfa and Natural Calm now...

Lauren spent the day creating this masterpiece. It's so beautiful that I didn't want to eat it. Yum!

Shared a slice of pepperoni pizza with Marcel.

And a Shock Top.

Ate this free (stale) popcorn.

3D glasses rock!

I LOVED the movie, btw. It was done very, well... very magically. The Cheshire Cat was so cool!

Kick-Ass Date Night

After work I rushed over to start my sauna session and refill my Kangen water jug. Then home to pick up Marcel, dinner and get to the movie theater.

We were lucky enough to get 2 free passes to see Kick-Ass the movie before it's released to the public. That movie was hilarious! It has a little bit of everything... and a lot of violence. Other than the gruesome parts I love this movie. Hit Girl is my hero! ♥

Have a feeling that everyone is going to dress up as Kick-Ass or Alice in Wonderland characters for Halloween this year. And it looks like purple hair is going to be big too! I'm ahead of the trends over here.

On the way to the theater we drove by this building I've been eying for what seems like forever. I need to stop and take some higher quality photos, but here's what I snapped...

I love Roy Lichtenstein art!!

{ blurry due to riding in the car }

Eats

Dinner

I shared this 6-inch Subway Turkey Sandwich on Honey Oat with Marcel. Also had a few sips of his root beer and a couple Cool Ranch Doritos.

Movie Snacks

Ended up spending $19.00 on the ridiculously marked-up snacks at the theater. Yikes!

Here's what I snacked on...

Honey Sunshine & Movie Date Night

I slept way too late this morning. If it wasn't for Roxy barking at the gardeners I would've slept through lunch time. Skipped my morning routine so I could make it to the office at a reasonable time.

8:30am: Kashi Honey Sunshine cereal with original Almond Breeze and a whole banana

(Cleaned up with my Photoshop skills.)

Morning supplements:
Alfalfa: 3 caps
B-12: 3 sprays
Pyruvyl Glycine: 4 sprays (almost out!)

Water: 1 liter

12:15pm: leftover Egg Foo Yummy! (minus the extra Asian patty... so I'm still hungry)

After lunch I did 3 sets of Hoe Downs with Lauren.

Afternoon supplements:
Alfalfa: 3 caps
B-12: 3 sprays
Pyruvyl Glycine: 8 sprays

Water: 1 liter

Tonight is date night! Every few months my apartment complex does a free movie night for residents at Channelside theaters. I'm more excited about having a date night with my honey sunshine than what movie we get to see for free!

5:45pm: Publix Granola Bark

Mostly good stuff.

It was a bit sweeter than I like, but still yummy.

6:30pm: Rotisserie Chicken Quesadilla

7:45pm: Shock Top

8:15pm: shared free popcorn

The free movie was All About Steve, which was a good balance between chick-flick and comedy. I liked it a lot!

I just finished body brushing and now I'm heading to bed.
