Good Friday!

Teresa let us out early today for Good Friday. Thanks Teresa! I really wasn't expecting such a short work day, but the weather was beautiful and it was so nice to start my weekend early.

I headed home and got geared up for my workout. First, I took Roxy for a little walk outside.

I'm really going to miss this view and walking trail! We're moving in one month. Still not sure where yet, but it's looking like Safety Harbor and I couldn't be more excited about it.

Exercise

Maxi Max #1 + body brushing.

This was a killer workout, but just what my body needed. I have to do more floor work!

Eats

Snacks

I shared this Organic Gala Apple and Organic PB with Marcel before we left for Whole Foods.

After Whole Foods I snacked on some of these Snapea Crisps.

Hello April

{ hello april by kitty genuis }

It is a gorgeous day!!! And I'm stuck inside. Can't wait for the weekend... I wanna lay out in the sun at the park again.

Skipped my workout this morning. Last night my mom called to tell me that my grandfather is in the hospital. Apparently he was trying to cross a street walking his bike when a motorcycle hit him. He got a pretty bad head injury and went right to the hospital. He's living on the other coast of Florida past Orlando. A bunch of my family members are heading over today and I might try to drive over this weekend to spend some time with him.

At any rate, I had trouble sleeping last night. Got in bed by 10pm, but couldn't fall asleep and kept waking up all night. This morning I overslept and didn't have time for an hour long workout, so I'm saving it for tonight.

Banana PB Green Monster.

{ weekend } Parks & Stars

I took the weekend off from the internet in general. My laptop is still having some residual issues and won't let me upload images! Have a lot of catching up to do, so here goes nothing...

Saturday, March 27th

Exercise

Lots of walking.

Today was a day of parks! The weather is absolutely beautiful and I can't bare to stay inside. First stop was Philippe Park for a lunch picnic in the sunshine, second stop was Enterprise Road Dog Park and third stop was Al Lopez Park to watch Where the Wild Things Are movie under the stars. Roxy came along for the entire day and loved it!

Roxy is ready to go!

I'm ready to get some sun!

Eats

Brekkie

Cherry Green Monster.

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup frozen organic cherries
  • 2 cups fresh organic spinach
  • 1 cup Silk Almond Milk
  • 2 Tbsp organic flax
  • 1/4 tsp bee pollen

After breakfast we headed out to Philippe Park to have a picnic in the sunshine.

Brought along plenty of H20 to stay hydrated!

Refilled with Kangen water, of course!

Lunch

Einsteins Veg Out with Jalapeno Chips.

View of the Bay

She loves being able to go where ever she wants off her leash. Only problem is we end up waiting for her.

X marks the spot!

After the dog park I had a few sips of this Nestea (aka nasty tea) to cool off.

Plans for tonight...

We took advantage of this free movie offer!

Snacks/Dinner

Well, I didn't actually eat a real dinner today. Got kinda full on snacky foods instead -- not good. ALL of them were shared with Marcel.

While we waited for the movie to start we demolished this bag of organic popcorn.

Then had some Reese's Pieces.

When we got home I put together some Chocolate Delight Granola with Chobani 0% Raspberry Yogurt.

Holy yum!

And then some more organic popcorn with the last of the Reese's Pieces.

Rainy Day

{ the view outside my window }

It's raining and gloomy today!

I was lucky enough to get in to see Margie for a massage first thing this morning. She made a world of difference on my shoulder (and whole body). I can lift my arm higher now, but it still hurts to do stuff. Driving a stick shift is NOT fun.

Eats

Brekkie

Raw Almonds.

Raspberry Green Monster.

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup frozen organic raspberries
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1/2 cup Chobani 0% Plain yogurt
  • 2 Tbsp MILA
  • 1 cup Original Almond Breeze

Green drinks are all I ever want for breakfast now. Nothing else seems appealing.

Lunch

If you can call it that...

Lucky Charms with Almond Milk.

Yeah, I'm pretty much not safe until the Lucky Charms are out of my kitchen!

Supplements

Alfalfa: 3 caps
Cellfood: 8 drops
nutraMetrix® Glucosatrin Bone & Joint Formula: 1 cap

Thank You Mother Nature

Mother Nature graciously delivered gorgeous weather for the first day of spring! I could not stay inside today... we filled out bellies and drove to the recycling center, then to the Enterprise Road Dog Park, and finally to sun bathe at Philippe Park in Safety Harbor.

{ excuse my blinding white legs!!! }

{ view from the top of the Indian mound }

Brekkie

Strawberry PB Green Monster.

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup frozen organic strawberries
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 cup Original Almond Breeze
  • 2 Tbsp MILA
  • 1 Tbsp peanut butter

YUM! Like a PB&J without the bread.

Lunch

Black Beans & Brown Rice with Spinach, Tomatoes and Lowfat Sour Cream.

At our picnic in the park I had a Quizno's Sonoma Turkey Sammie.

Snacks

Chocolate Delight Granola and Chobani 0% Plain Yogurt shared with Marcel.

Then I had to have some Lucky Charms...

Once my sweet tooth gets going its hard to stop!

P.S. My right side is still pretty bad. I scheduled a massage with Margie for 9am tomorrow.
